«If, then or maybe not» is a dance piece about the conditional and the unconditional, the fulfilment and the disappointment, about strategy and unexpected course of action – a dance piece about human encounters. If…then…or…maybe not. If- clauses are conditional sentence structures promising conditions that require to be fulfilled. The grammatical structure understood as a metaphor for human conditioned action. Conditions are met… or not. Conditions are the effort to predict future events thereby controlling them – it is this that provides the playground for the 18 performers. inFlux worked with professionals and non-professionals alike for this production.
